Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 15/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1015 hPa over the Bight will move eastwards and weaken on Sunday, followed by a front moving to the south of the State on Monday. Another high will develop south of Western Australia on Tuesday with a stronger cold front expected to move over the south of the State on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated morning showers in the far northeast corner. Possible isolated light morning showers near the coasts east of Fowlers Bay. Fine elsewhere. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the north with mainly moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Monday 17 FebruaryPossible isolated showers developing about southern and western coasts in the afternoon and evening. Mild in the south, grading to warm in the north with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 18 FebruaryPossible isolated showers about southern and western coastal districts, becoming more likely about southern coasts during the evening. Mild in the south, grading to warm in the north with moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 19 FebruaryIsolated showers over the agricultural areas and West Coast, more likely about the southern agricultural area. Moderate to fresh southwest to southeasterly winds. Cool to mild in the south and mild to warm in the north. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning to midnight Wednesday are expected to be up to 2 mm, reaching 2 to 5 mm about southern coasts.Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and parts of the West Coast, clearing later on Thursday, then fine apart from a possible shower developing in the far northeast on Saturday. Moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh at times. Cool to mild in the south, mild to warm in the north.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
