Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 29/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high south of the Bight will move slowly eastwards to be over the Tasman Sea on Friday. A low pressure trough will move across the south of the State on Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayEarly frost patches about the Mid North and southern Flinders. Fine apart from possible isolated light showers near southern coasts and in the Lower South East, contracting to the Lower South East by midday, then clearing by evening. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Thursday 31 OctoberFine. Local early morning frost about the Mid North, southern Flinders and eastern Murraylands. Mild in the southeast grading to warm to hot in the north and west. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Friday 1 NovemberFine. Hot in the north and west, otherwise generally warm. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Saturday 2 NovemberFine apart from isolated showers over Kangaroo Island, Fleurieu Peninsula and the South East district. Generally warm to hot ahead of a milder change extending across the south of the State during the day. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds, ahead of a moderate southerly wind change in the far west and south during the morning, reaching the southern Pastorals in the evening, locally fresh about the coasts and far southwest. Cumulative rainfall totals from Wednesday morning to midnight Saturday over southern coasts and the southeast are expected to be less than 1 mm.Sunday until TuesdayFine apart from possible isolated light showers about the Lower South East, and southern coasts of Kangaroo Island and Fleurieu Peninsula, clearing by early Monday morning. Cool to mild in the south, hot in the north. Moderate to fresh southwest to southeasterly winds turning southeast to easterly during Monday and northerly during Tuesday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Wednesday.Product IDS10033
