Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 28/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low over southern New South Wales will move eastwards reaching the Tasman Sea Tuesday. A high will develop to the south of the Bight on Tuesday, then move slowly eastwards to be over the Tasman Sea on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers about the coasts, Mount Lofty Ranges and South East. A generally cool evening. Moderate to fresh southwest to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 29 OctoberFine apart from isolated light morning showers about the coasts east of Elliston. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the far north. Moderate south to southeasterly winds, locally fresh at times.Wednesday 30 OctoberEarly frost patches about the Mid North, southern Flinders, Upper South East and Murraylands. Fine apart from possible isolated showers in the Lower South East. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Thursday 31 OctoberFine. Local early morning frost about the Mid North and central Victoria border. Mild in the southeast grading to warm to hot in the north and west. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Friday 1 NovemberFine. Hot in the north and west, otherwise generally warm. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday afternoon to midnight Friday are expected to be mostly 1 mm or less.Saturday until MondayFine apart from isolated showers over Kangaroo Island, Fleurieu Peninsula and the South East district on Saturday and possible light showers about those coasts on Sunday and Monday morning. Generally warm to hot on Saturday, becoming milder over the agricultural area and southern pastoral districts by Sunday. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds, ahead of a fresh south to southeasterly wind change in the west and south Saturday afternoon, extending throughout on Sunday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Tuesday.Product IDS10033
