Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 25/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of the Bight extends a ridge to northeastern New South Wales and a weak cold front will bring brief southerly change along the coast on Saturday. During Monday the ridge will weaken as the high moves over the Tasman Sea and a low pressure trough will deepen over the central parts of the state. This trough is expected to weaken over the northeast of the state on Tuesday as another ridge develops throughout.
Forecast for the rest of FridayMostly clear. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Saturday 26 OctoberMostly sunny. Early frost patches about the southern and central slopes and ranges. Southwest to southeast winds, fresh along the south and central coasts.Fire Danger -  Very High in the northeast.Sunday 27 OctoberThe chance of coastal showers. Early frost patches about the southern slopes and ranges. Southwest to southeast winds.Monday 28 OctoberIsolated coastal showers possibly extending to the western slopes and ranges. Mostly clear and hot in the west. Northwest to northeast winds turning west to southwesterly in the west.Tuesday 29 OctoberThe chance of showers or thunderstorms in the northeast and the chance of showers on the south and central coasts.
