Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 23/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system is moving south of the Bight extending a ridge to northeastern New South Wales and directing mild south to southwesterly winds. During Tuesday and Wednesday a low pressure trough will move across the state and a another high pressure ridge is expected to develop behind it.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers and the chance of thunderstorms in the far northeast, contracting to the coast during the day. Isolated clearing showers on the Alps. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Cooler southeast to southwest winds extending throughout.Fire Danger -  Very High - North Coast, Hunter, Sydney, Illawarra, New England, Northern Slopes & North Western.Friday 25 OctoberIsolated showers clearing showers on the far north coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Mild southwest winds, tending northeast to southeast along the coast.Saturday 26 OctoberMostly sunny. Southwest to southeast winds.Sunday 27 OctoberThe chance of coastal showers. Mostly sunny remainder.
