Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 7/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over southeastern Australia is moving east and it will move over the Tasman Sea on Wednesday. A strong cold front preceded by gusty, hot northwesterly winds will cross New South Wales during Thursday follow by another, weak high pressure ridge developing briefly behind the front on Friday. Another, weaker cold front is expected to move through the state during Saturday and Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated coastal showers and clearing showers on the Alps. The chance of thunderstorms on the Central Coast and Mid North Coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to southwest winds.Fire Danger -  Very High on the Far North Coast and on the Northern Slopes.Wednesday 9 OctoberDry and mostly sunny. Early morning frost and fog patches on the southern ranges. Northeast to northwest winds.Thursday 10 OctoberIsolated showers developing in the far south. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Hot, north to northwesterly winds becoming gusty ahead of a mild, late southwesterly change in the southwest..Friday 11 OctoberThe chance of coastal showers and the chance of showers on the Alps.
