Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 21/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high currently centred over eastern NSW will drift slowly east overnight and tomorrow as a fairly weak trough crosses the southeast. A strong trough will approach western NSW during Monday with winds turning hot, dry northwesterly in the west. This trough is expected to gradually weaken as it moves over eastern NSW during Tuesday with little if any rainfall associated with its passage.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayMostly clear apart from the chance of isolated showers in the far southwest. Southwest to southeasterly winds in the east, and northwest winds in the west.Sunday 22 SeptemberIsolated showers and possible thunderstorms in the southeast, more likely about the southern ranges and coast. The chance of afternoon and evening showers or thunderstorms about the northern coast and adjacent ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. A few early fog patches in the east. Very warm day in the northwest. Light winds in the east, with afternoon sea breezes developing. Freshening west to northwesterly winds in the west.Monday 23 SeptemberThe chance of an early shower along the north coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere though cloud increasing in the southwest. Hot day in the west with some raised dust possible. Freshening northwest to northeasterly winds, becoming strong and gusty in the far west.Tuesday 24 SeptemberMostly sunny. Hot day for the northern inland. West to northwesterly winds, tending fresh northeasterly on the north coast. Southerly change on the south coast later.Wednesday 25 SeptemberMostly sunny. Hot day for the northwest.
