Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 18/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front in the east will clear the eastern border later this morning morning. A high is forecast to gradually move across South Australia this week with weak trough passing over the far south of the State late Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers over agricultural areas, West Coast district and the southern parts of the Pastoral districts, scattered over the southern agricultural area on and east of the ranges, all easing and contracting to southern coasts then clearing in the evening. Cool to mild in the south, warm in the north. Moderate to fresh southwesterly winds extending throughout during the morning.Thursday 19 SeptemberFine apart from isolated early morning and evening showers about the Lower South East and the chance of isolated showers over southern coasts from mid-afternoon. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the north. Moderate southwesterly winds easing during the day.Friday 20 SeptemberIsolated showers over the Lower South East Coast with the chance of isolated showers over remaining southern coastal districts, all contracting southwards and clearing in the afternoon. Mild to warm. Light to moderate northeast to northwesterly winds and light afternoon coastal sea breezes in the west.Saturday 21 SeptemberCloudy. Warm in the south grading to hot in the north. Moderate to fresh northerly winds ahead of a cooler west to southwesterly change extending from the west during the day. Cumulative rainfall totals from Wednesday morning to midnight Saturday are expected to be up to 2 mm in the north and west, increasing to 2 to 10 mm over the southern agricultural area, with possible falls of 10 to 20 mm over southern coasts and the Mt Lofty RangesSunday until TuesdayFine at first with warm to hot with northerly winds ahead of a cooler, moderate to fresh southwesterly change bringing isolated showers to agricultural areas early next week.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Wednesday.Product IDS10033
