Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 6/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high south of the Bight will move eastwards during the weekend, reaching the Tasman Sea by Monday. A low pressure system will develop south of the Bight on Sunday and move eastwards south of the State on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayEarly morning fog patches over the agricultural area. Isolated showers over the South East district, clearing by evening. Isolated showers and possible isolated morning thunder in the far west. Mild in the south with light to moderate southerly winds, grading to hot in the north with light to moderate northerly winds.Sunday 8 SeptemberPossible isolated showers near southern coasts. Isolated showers and possible thunderstorms in the far west. Mild to warm in the south, grading to hot in the north. Freshening northerly winds, shifting west to southwesterly in the west during the day.Monday 9 SeptemberIsolated showers over the West Coast and agricultural area, increasing to scattered about the southern agricultural area. Possible isolated showers in the northwest. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the north. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, shifting west to southwesterly in the west and extending throughout during the day.Tuesday 10 SeptemberPossible isolated showers in the far north. Isolated showers over the agricultural area. Cool in the south, grading to warm in the north. Moderate southwest to southerly winds, easing from the west during the day. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday morning afternoon to midnight Tuesday are expected to be 10 to 15 mm about the southern Mount Lofty Ranges and Lower South East, 2 to 10 mm over the remainder of the southern agricultural area and Nullarbor Plain and less than 2 mm elsewhere.Wednesday until FridayPossible isolated showers on Wednesday. Possible isolated showers in the northeast on Thursday. Isolated showers over the agricultural area on Thursday and Friday. Cool to mild in the south, grading to warm to hot in the north.Moderate to fresh northerly winds, turning west to southwesterly.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Saturday.Product IDS10033
