Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 4/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge into New South Wales and will remain the dominant feature over the next few days, promoting generally fine and sunny weather across the state. A low pressure trough is expected to become slow moving over the southern parts from late Thursday, but appears unlikely to bring significant rainfall.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayThe chance of isolated light showers near the Victorian border, otherwise fine and partly cloudy. Early fog patches along the coast and ranges. A warm day, tending very warm to hot in the northwest. Winds northeast to northwesterly, ahead of a southwesterly change in the far south.Friday 6 SeptemberIsolated showers over the south of the state, otherwise fine and partly cloudy. Early fog patches along the coast and ranges, mainly in the north. A warm day in the east and north, tending very warm to hot in the northwest. Winds northeast to northwesterly, ahead of a southwesterly change in the south.Saturday 7 SeptemberIsolated showers over the south of the state, elsewhere fine and partly cloudy. A warm day in the east and north, tending very warm to hot in the northwest. Winds northeast to northwesterly in the far north, ahead of a southwesterly change in the south.Sunday 8 SeptemberIsolated showers along the coastal districts . Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere.
