MELBOURNE - Aug 25/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system over southeastern Australia is slowly moving east. This high will move over the Tasman Sea early Monday and then it will move slowly east maintaining a ridge to the northeastern New South Wales. During Thursday and Friday a low pressure trough is expected to cross the inland parts of the state. Forecast for the rest of SundayThe chance of showers in the far southeastern inland. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Light winds.Monday 26 AugustThe chance of showers on the Alps. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Early frost and fog patches about the tablelands. Light winds.Tuesday 27 AugustPartly cloudy with northeast to northwesterly winds.Wednesday 28 AugustIsolated showers in the southeast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Northerly winds.Thursday 29 AugustPartly cloudy in the northwest and on the north coast and ranges. Isolated showers developing elsewhere.
