Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 25/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system north of the Bight is moving east strengthening a ridge across New South Wales. The high will move over the Tasman Sea on Monday and then it will move slowly east maintaining the ridge to the northeast of the state. During Thursday and Friday a low pressure trough is expected to cross the inland parts of the state.
Forecast for the rest of SundayThe chance of showers in the far northeast this morning and the far southeastern inland during the afternoon mostly. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Early frost and fog patches about the slopes and ranges. Light winds.Monday 26 AugustThe chance of showers on the Alps. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Early frost and fog patches about the tablelands. Light winds.Tuesday 27 AugustPartly cloudy with northeast to northwesterly winds.Wednesday 28 AugustIsolated showers in the southeast. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
