Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 23/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over the Bight will move eastwards to be over South Australia on Saturday then over the Tasman Sea on Monday. A trough of low pressure will move across from the west early next week.
Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers light showers over the agricultural area, more frequent at times about the ranges. Moderate west to southwest winds, tending light to moderate south to southwest in the north.Saturday 24 AugustMorning fog patches. Isolated light showers about the southern agricultural area, more frequent at times about the ranges during the morning. Cool to mild in the south, grading to warm in the far northeast. Light and variable winds.Sunday 25 AugustIsolated early frost about the Flinders, Mid North and far south of the Pastoral districts. Fine apart from isolated showers about the Lower South East coast and isolated morning showers about Kangaroo Island. Cool to mild in the south grading to mild to warm in the north and west. Light to moderate northeast to northwesterly winds.Monday 26 AugustIsolated showers over the Lower South East clearing during the afternoon. Possible isolated showers developing in the far west. Mild to warm with light to moderate northerly winds, fresh at times in the west.Tuesday 27 AugustIsolated showers developing about southern coasts with possible light showers over the remainder of the agricultural area. Mild to warm grading to hot in the north with light o moderate northerly winds fresh at times in the west. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday morning to midnight Monday are expected to be 2 to 5 mm over the Mount Lofty Ranges and Lower South East coast. Less than 2 mm elsewhere.Wednesday until FridayIsolated showers over the agricultural area and West Coast district contracting to the Lower South East by Friday and becoming less likely. Mild to warm grading to hot in the north becoming cooler about southern parts during the period. Winds generally from the north with periods of southerlies associated with weak trough passing over southern parts during the period.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Saturday.Product IDS10033
