Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 8/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A complex low pressure system over the Tasman Sea will move to the east on Friday as a high pressure system moves over central parts of the state extending a ridge to the western Tasman Sea. This high will weaken over the Tasman Sea on Sunday and a cold front is expected to cross the state during Monday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayMorning fog and frost inland. Isolated showers over the southern inland with snow showers above 1500 metres. Partly cloudy remainder. South to southwesterly on the north coast, northwest winds remainder.Saturday 10 AugustMorning fog and frost on the slopes and ranges. Isolated clearing showers on the western slopes of the far southern ranges. Partly cloudy remainder. West to northwest winds, tending south to southwest in the west and south.Sunday 11 AugustThe chance of showers in the far southwest. Partly cloudy remainder. West to northwest winds.Monday 12 AugustIsolated showers in the southern and central parts. Partly cloudy in the north. West to northwest winds ahead of the southwesterly change in the west and southeast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Friday.Product IDN10031
