MELBOURNE - Jul 27/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A low 992 hPa well south of the western Bight is moving southeastwards. An associated front will move across the west of the State on Sunday and across the east on Monday morning. A high will move over the State on Tuesday, then another front will move across the south of the State during Thursday. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayPossible isolated showers over the West Coast district, Eyre Peninsula, Kangaroo Island and the foot of Yorke Peninsula. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh northerly winds.Sunday 28 JulyScattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms about southern coasts and the west coast south of Elliston. Isolated showers possible over the remainder of the southern agricultural area and near western coasts. Warm in the northeast, cool to mild elsewhere. Moderate to fresh north to northwest winds turning west to southwesterly in the west, fresh to strong about western coasts.Monday 29 JulyIsolated showers extending over the agricultural area and near the west coast, tending to scattered showers about southern coastal districts. Warm in the northeast, cool to mild elsewhere. Moderate to fresh northwest to southwesterly winds in the south, tending light to moderate south to southwest inland.Tuesday 30 July Isolated showers about the southern agricultural area and west coast, contracting to southern coasts in the evening. Cool to mild with light and variable winds. Wednesday 31 JulyEarly fog patches over the Nullarbor Plain. Possible isolated morning showers Kangaroo Island and the Lower South East coast. Fine elsewhere. Cool to mild with light and variable winds, tending moderate northerly in the far west and south.
