Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 27/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge over eastern New South Wales. The next cold front is expected to reach the state's western border during Sunday, continuing across to the coast on Monday and Tuesday before another high moves across the state from the west.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayThe chance of a shower or two on the far north coast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Early frost areas and fog patches in the east, particularly about the ranges. Light winds in the east, moderate to fresh northerlies developing in the west during the afternoon.Sunday 28 JulyIsolated showers developing across the southern inland, and the chance of showers on the far north coast. Possible thunderstorms near the Victorian border. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Northeast to northwesterly wind, becoming fresh and gusty in the south and east.Monday 29 JulyFine and partly cloudy in the far west. Isolated showers across the remainder, mainly over the inland southeast. North to northwesterly winds ahead of a west to southwesterly change in the west.Tuesday 30 JulyFine and partly cloudy in the far west and for most of coastal areas. Isolated showers across the remainder, mainly over the inland southeast. A west to southwesterly change extending across the eastern half.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Saturday.Product IDN10031
