Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 24/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system over southeast Australia is gradually drifting east. By Saturday it is expected to be centred above the Tasman Sea, while maintaining a ridge into northern New South Wales. The next cold front is expected to reach the state's western border during Sunday, continuing across to the coast on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers on the northern half of the coast. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Morning frost areas and fog patches inland. South to southeasterly winds tending light and variable inland.Friday 26 JulyIsolated showers about the far north coast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Early frost and fog inland. Generally light winds.Saturday 27 JulyIsolated showers on the far north coast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Early frost and fog inland. Generally light winds.Sunday 28 JulyIsolated showers developing across the southern and central inland, and the chance of showers on the far north coast. North to northwesterly winds tending east to southeasterly on the far north coast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Thursday.Product IDN10031
