MELBOURNE - Jul 24/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A strong high pressure system southeast of the Bight is slowly moving east extending a ridge to northern New South Wales. The high will move over the Tasman Sea by Friday and then it will continue to move east maintaining the ride to the northwest. The next cold front is expected to move across the state during Sunday and Monday. Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers on the northern half of the coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh to strong along the coast. Dangerous surf conditions.Thursday 25 JulyIsolated showers on the northern half of the coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Morning frost areas and fog patches inland. South to southeasterly winds tending variable inland.Friday 26 JulyIsolated showers on the far north coast. Mostly clear elsewhere. Early frost and fog inland. Light and variable wind inland, tending westerly over the ranges.Saturday 27 JulyIsolated showers on the far north coast. Mostly clear elsewhere. Early frost and fog inland. Light winds.Sunday 28 JulyIsolated showers in the southern and central inland and isolated showers on the far north coast.
