MELBOURNE - Jul 15/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high over far western South Australia will move slowly eastwards and weaken. A deep low will move in south of the Bight on Wednesday then move steadily eastwards to be over the Tasman Sea on Saturday. Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area contracting to southern coasts in the evening. Mainly light winds.Tuesday 16 JulyMorning fog patches over Eyre Peninsula and on and east of the ranges. Possible isolated showers over the southeast districts until evening. Mild with light winds becoming moderate northerly from the west.Wednesday 17 JulyAreas of rain in the far southwest extending eastwards across the State to reach about Keith to Port Augusta late evening with patchy rain reaching Renmark to Coober Pedy. Rain clearing from the west with isolated showers possible about western coasts following the rain. Mild to warm with fresh to strong and gusty north to northwesterly winds.Thursday 18 JulyAreas of rain east of about Woomera contracting east and clearing around midnight. Isolated showers over the agricultural area and west coast tending scattered about coastal districts and the ranges. Cool to mild with fresh northwest to southwesterly winds tending to strong about coastal areas.Friday 19 JulyScattered showers over the agricultural area with isolated showers extending over the pastoral districts south of about Leigh Creek at first then contracting south later in the day.
