Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 14/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weak front over the southeast of the State will move eastwards across Tasmania today. A high over far western South Australia will move slowly eastwards and weaken. A deep low will move in south of the Bight on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers over the agricultural area and far south of the pastorals contracting southwards to southern coasts in the evening and clearing late evening. Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the far northeast early this morning. Morning fog patches. Cool to mild with mainly light winds.Tuesday 16 JulyFine apart from early fog patches over Eyre Peninsula and on and east of the ranges. Mild with light winds becoming moderate northerly from the west.Wednesday 17 JulyAreas of rain in the far southwest extending eastwards across the State to reach about Keith to Port Augusta late evening with patchy rain reaching Renmark to Coober Pedy. Rain clearing from the west with isolated showers possible about western coasts following the rain. Mild to warm with fresh to strong and gusty north to northwesterly winds.Thursday 18 JulyAreas of rain east of about Woomera contracting east and clearing around midnight. Isolated showers over the agricultural area and west coast tending scattered about coastal districts. Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday to midnight Thursday are expected to be 5 to 15 mm over the agricultural area and West Coast district. Falls of 15 to 25 mm are possible about the western coasts and the Mt Lofty Ranges. Up to 5 mm elsewhere.Friday until SundayScattered showers over the agricultural area with isolated showers extending over the pastoral districts south of about Leigh Creek at first then contracting south and easing by Saturday. Isolated showers continuing over the agricultural area on Sunday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Monday.Product IDS10033
