Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 10/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A strong, semi-stationary high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea extends a ridge to northwestern New South Wales. During Sunday and Monday a low pressure trough will move across the west and southeast of the state.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayMorning fog areas inland. Morning frosts over the southern slopes and ranges. Isolated showers on then northern half of the coast and ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Friday 12 JulyMorning fog patches on the northern and central ranges and slopes. Isolated showers in the far northeast, more likely near the coast. Patchy rain developing in the far southwest. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds in the north, and northeast to northwesterly winds across the south.Saturday 13 JulyMorning fog patches on the northern and central ranges and slopes. Patchy rain over the southwest inland, possibly extending to southeast districts later in the day. Isolated showers in the far northeast. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Light and variable winds in the east, tending northerly in the west.Sunday 14 JulyPatchy rain in the west, extending to central and southeast parts during the day. Patchy rain increasing to areas of rain from the southwest later. Isolated showers in the far northeast. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Light and variable winds near northern and central parts of the coast. Northeast to northwest winds elsewhere.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Thursday.Product IDN10031
