Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 8/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system entering western Victoria will move slowly eastwards across the State on Tuesday to reach the Tasman Sea on Wednesday then become slow moving over the central Tasman Thursday and Friday. A low pressure system is expected to form over Bight waters on Friday and Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers contracting to the coast early this evening. The chance of thunderstorms on the coastal fringe. Fog patches developing inland. Cold with light winds and generally clear skies inland.Tuesday 9 JulyThe chance of early morning showers near the coast. Widespread morning frost and fog patches then a cool and mostly sunny day with light winds.Wednesday 10 JulyWidespread morning frost and fog patches then a cool and mostly sunny day with light to moderate north to northeasterly winds.Thursday 11 JulyMorning fog and frost patches in the east. A fine and cool day to follow with increasing high cloud. Light to moderate north to northeasterly winds.Friday 12 JulyLocal early fog in Gippsland. Patchy rain developing, mostly on and north of the dividing range. Cool and mostly cloudy with light to moderate northerly wind.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EST Tuesday.Product IDV10310
