Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 5/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A series of fronts will move over the southern half of the State until Monday, while a ridge of high pressure persists over the northern interiors.
Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers over the agricultural area and West Coast district, tending scattered near southern coasts and in the Lower South East until late afternoon. Possible small hail in the Lower South East this morning. Cool to cold with moderate to fresh west to southwesterly winds, strong about southern coasts.Saturday 6 JulyScattered showers south of Ceduna to Clare to Salt Creek. Isolated showers over the remainder of the agricultural area, far west coast and far south of the pastoral districts. Cool to cold with moderate to fresh west to northwest winds, strong at first about southern coasts. Light and variable winds in the north.Sunday 7 JulyIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and western coasts. Cool with moderate northwest winds, turning southerly in the west. Light and variable winds in the north.Monday 8 JulyIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area, contracting to southern coasts in the evening. Patchy rain over the northwest interior. Early morning fog patches. Cool with light to moderate south to southeast winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday morning to midnight Monday are expected to be less than 2 mm over the northern agricultural area and the Far West Coast district, increasing to 2 to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area, and further to 5 to 15 mm near southern and western coasts and over the southern Mount Lofty Ranges.Tuesday until ThursdayPatchy rain over the pastoral districts. Isolated showers about Kangaroo Island clearing early Tuesday, then developing about southern coastal districts during Wednesday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Friday.Product IDS10033
