Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 3/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system moves over central New South Wales extending a ridge to the east. This high will move over the Tasman Sea late on Wednesday. A cold front is expected to cross the state during Thursday and Friday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers in the far northeast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. West to northwesterly winds, tending southwest to southeast in the northeast.Thursday 4 JulyIsolated showers over the southern ranges and slopes. Chance of isolated morning showers over the far north coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. West to northwest winds, windy in the south and southeast, very windy over the ranges.Friday 5 JulyIsolated showers over the south of the state, tending scattered over the southern ranges and slopes. Isolated showers over the Northwest Slopes and Plains and Northern Tablelands. Partly cloudy elsewhere. West to northwest winds, windy over the ranges and slopes.Saturday 6 JulyIsolated showers over the western half of the southern ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. West to northwest winds.Sunday 7 JulyIsolated showers over the southern slopes and ranges. Isolated showers over the far north coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere.
