Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 1/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A deep low pressure system is moving very slowly east away from Queensland south coast as a high pressure system moves over central New South Wales extending a ridge to the east. This high will move over the Tasman Sea during Wednesday and a cold front is expected to cross the state during Thursday and Friday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayRain and showers on the north coast and ranges easing. The chance of showers on the western of the far southern ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Areas of morning fog in the south. South to southeasterly winds, tending west to northwesterly in the southeast.Wednesday 3 JulyIsolated showers in the northeast clearing. The chance of light showers over the southern ranges and slopes. West to northwesterly winds, tending south to southeast in the northeast.Thursday 4 JulyIsolated showers over the southern ranges and slopes. Mostly sunny remainder. West to northwest winds.Friday 5 JulyIsolated showers over the south of the state, tending scattered over the southern ranges and slopes. Chance of isolated showers over the Northwest Slopes and western slopes of the Northern Tablelands. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
