Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 28/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1030 hPa over the Bight extends a ridge of high pressure across the State. These features will be near stationary for the next few days. A weak front will clip the far southeast of South Australia later today.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated light showers about the southern agricultural coasts. Patchy morning fog and frost, mainly in the south. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, tending westerly near southern coasts.Sunday 30 JuneIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area, possibly also reaching the northern agricultural area. Patchy morning fog in the south. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southerly winds tending westerly in the south.Monday 1 JulyIsolated showers about the southern agricultural area. Morning fog patches south of about Leigh Creek. Cool to mild with moderate westerly winds in the south and light winds further north.Tuesday 2 JulyIsolated light showers about the Lower South East coast. Morning fog patches. Cool to mild with light winds tending moderate northerly in the south and west. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday afternoon until midnight Tuesday are expected to be generally less than 2 mm, reaching 2 to 5 mm about southern coasts and ranges.Wednesday until FridayIsolated showers developing about southern coasts late Wednesday, extending to the southern agricultural area and west coast on Thursday and Friday and increasing to scattered showers about the Lower South East and Mount Lofty Ranges.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Saturday.Product IDS10033
