MELBOURNE - Jun 26/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A 1032 hPa high pressure system is centred over the southern Tasman Sea. A weakening trough of low pressure will move across southern and western coasts on Thursday. A new high pressure system will become established over the south of WA on Friday and will remain near stationary during the weekend then move slowly eastwards early next week. Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers south of a line Ceduna to Keith. Possible isolated morning showers in the far northwest. Morning fog patches. Early frost patches about the Murraylands, Riverland and Mid North districts. Cool to mild with mainly light winds.Friday 28 JuneIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and west coast. Possible isolated showers in the far northwest. Early fog patches. Early frost patches on and east of the Flinders Ranges. Cool to mild with mostly light winds.Saturday 29 JuneIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and west coast. Patchy morning fog in the south. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, tending westerly near southern coasts.Sunday 30 June Isolated showers over the agricultural area and west coast. Patchy morning fog in the south. Cool to mild light to moderate southwest to southerly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday morning until midnight Sunday are expected to be up to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area, west coast and far northwest, reaching 5 to 10 mm about southern coasts.
