Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 26/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1032 hPa is centred over the southern Tasman Sea. A weak trough of low pressure will approach western coasts today and move over southern coasts on Thursday. A new high will be centred over the Bight on Friday and remain near stationary on the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayPatchy rain northwest of about Oodnadatta to Tarcoola. Possible isolated showers over western coasts, with the chance of isolated thunderstorms over western Kangaroo Island. Cool with light to moderate north to northwesterly winds, fresh about southern coasts.Thursday 27 JuneIsolated showers south of line Ceduna to Keith. Possible isolated morning showers in the far northwest. Early fog patches. Early frost patches on and east of the Flinders Ranges. Cool to mild with mainly light winds.Friday 28 JuneIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and west coast. Possible isolated showers in the far northwest. Early fog patches. Early frost patches on and east of the Flinders Ranges. Cool to mild with mostly light winds.Saturday 29 JuneIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and west coast. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, tending westerly near southern coasts. Cumulative rainfall totals for the remainder of Wednesday until midnight Saturday are expected to be up to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area, west coast and far northwest, reaching 5 to 10 mm about southern coasts.Sunday 30 JuneIsolated showers over the agricultural area and west coast. Cool to mild light to moderate southwest to southerly winds.Monday until WednesdayIsolated showers about the southern agricultural area, contracting to southern coasts on Tuesday and clearing by Wednesday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Thursday.Product IDS10033
