Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 16/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A complex low pressure system over the southwestern Tasman Sea will remain very slow moving until Tuesday when a high pressure system moves south of the Bight extending a ridge across western and northeastern New South Wales and into the northern Tasman Sea. The next cold front/trough is expected to move over the western parts of the state on Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers in the southeast with snow showers on the Alps above 1200m. Isolated showers on the central coast possibly extending to the slopes and ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Early fog and frost on the slopes and ranges. Southwest winds.Tuesday 18 JunePartly cloudy on the north coast and adjacent ranges and the in the western half. Isolated showers elsewhere with snow showers in the south above 1200 metres. Partly cloudy remainder. Early frost on the slopes and ranges. Southwest winds.Wednesday 19 JuneIsolated coastal showers and isolated showers on the Alps with snow showers above 1200 metres. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Early frost on the slopes and ranges. South to southeasterly winds.Thursday 20 JuneIsolated coastal showers. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
