Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 16/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system centred well south of SA will move slowly southeastwards to be centred southeast of Tasmania on Thursday. This high will extend a ridge northwards over SA. A trough will reach the far west early Thursday morning and will move across SA during Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers about southern and central coastal districts. Early frost about the ranges and eastern districts. Possible early morning fog patches inland. Generally cool with light to moderate south to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 18 JuneIsolated showers near southern coasts. Morning fog and frost. Generally cool with light to moderate southeast to southwesterly winds.Wednesday 19 JuneIsolated showers near southern coasts. Morning fog about the agricultural area and south of the pastoral districts. Early frost about the ranges and eastern districts. Patchy rain possibly developing in the far northwest. Generally cool with mainly light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Thursday 20 June
Possible patchy rain over parts of the pastoral and Flinders districts clearing. Isolated showers extending across southern and western coasts. Early fog and frost patches about central and eastern districts. Cool with moderate northeast to northwesterly winds shifting southwesterly in the west.
Cumulative rainfall totals form Monday morning through until midnight Thursday are expected to be generally less than 2 mm, increasing to 2 to 10 mm about southern coasts and possibly in the far northwest.
Friday until SundayIsolated showers extending across the agricultural area and south of the pastoral districts. Cool with fresh southwest to northwesterly winds extending throughout.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Monday.Product IDS10033
