Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 15/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low over the Tasman Sea is very slow moving and will remain there through to next week. A ridge of high pressure over South Australia will remain near-stationary through to next week.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated light showers about central and southern coastal districts. Possible isolated showers in the far west of the state. Cool with light to moderate southeasterly winds.Sunday 16 JuneIsolated light showers about southern coasts. The chance of isolated showers in the northwest of the State clearing during the day. Early morning fog or frost inland. Cool with light to moderate southeasterly winds.Monday 17 JuneIsolated showers about southern and central coastal districts. Early morning fog, mainly about agricultural areas and southern Pastoral districts. Morning frost about and east of the Flinders Ranges. Generally cool with light to moderate south to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 18 JuneIsolated showers near the southern coasts. Morning fog and frost, mainly about agricultural areas. Generally cool with light to moderate southeast to southwesterly winds.Wednesday 19 JuneIsolated showers about the southern and central coasts. Morning fog and frost on and east of the the Flinders Ranges. Patchy rain developing over the northwest corner of the State. Generally cool with mainly light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals for the remainder of Saturday through until midnight Wednesday are expected to be generally less than 2 mm, increasing to 2 to 10 mm about southern coasts.Thursday until SaturdayPatchy rain extending eastwards across the North West Pastoral, Flinders and North East Pastoral districts before clearing on Friday. Isolated showers persisting about coastal parts. Remaining cool with light to moderate southerly winds turning northeasterly in the west late in the period.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
