MELBOURNE - Jun 8/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A cold front is crossing the southern Tasman Sea and a high pressure system is moving over southeastern Australia extending a ridge behind the trough. This high will move over the southwestern Tasman Sea early Sunday and then it will move east maintaining the ridge to northern New South Wales. During Wednesday a low pressure trough will move over the western parts of the state and a low will develop within the trough by Thursday. The trough and the low are expected to move offshore early Saturday. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers on the northern half of the coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Morning fog patches about slopes and plains. Southeast to northeast winds.Sunday 9 JuneIsolated showers on the north coast. Rain developing in the northern and central inland. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.Monday 10 JunePartly cloudy in the far west. Rain areas elsewhere contracting northeast. Northeast to southeast winds.Tuesday 11 JuneIsolated showers west of the Divide. Partly cloudy elsewhere..
