MELBOURNE - Jun 7/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A cold front and associated trough passes over eastern NSW this evening and into the Tasman Sea tomorrow. A high pressure ridge will move in behind the trough resulting in a southerly change reaching Sydney this evening and moving further northwards on Saturday. The high pressure system will pass over NSW on Saturday and into the Tasman Sea by Sunday. Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers on and east of the ranges clearing rapidly this evening to just the coastal fringe. South to southwest winds, but west to northwest in the northeast.Saturday 8 JuneIsolated showers on the northern coast and adjacent ranges. Partly cloudy. Morning fog patches about slopes and plains. Southeast to northeast winds.Sunday 9 JuneIsolated showers over the northern coast and adjacent ranges. Rain periods developing in the far northwest during the day, becoming more widespread towards the Queensland border. Southeast to northeast winds.Monday 10 JuneRain periods contracting to eastern parts of the state during the day, more widespread about the northern slopes and plains. Northeast to southeast winds.Tuesday 11 JuneIsolated showers developing over much of the western parts of the state.
