Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 5/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
Cloud is streaming into the state from a low pressure system over central Australia. A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is maintaining a ridge to the New South Wales north coast. As the ridge weakens a weak low pressure trough will develop over the northeast of the state on Thursday and persist through until the end of the weekend. A weak front will cross the south of the state on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers in the far southwest. Cloudy. East to northeasterly winds.Thursday 6 JuneCloudy with patches of light rain in the south and west. Fine in the northeast. Northeast to northwest winds.Friday 7 JuneFine in the far northeast and far southwest. Cloudy with patches of light rain in the south and west. Northwest to northeast winds turning south to southwesterly on the south coast.Saturday 8 JuneIsolated showers in the northeast. Partly cloudy.
