Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 4/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over southeastern Australia is moving east. The high will move over the southwestern Tasman Sea on Wednesday and then it will move towards New Zealand maintaining a ridge to New South Wales north coast. As the ridge weakens a weak low pressure trough will develop over the northeast of the state on Thursday. The next cold front is expected to to cross the state during Sunday and Monday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers on the northern coast. Partly cloudy otherwise. South to southeast winds.Wednesday 5 JuneIsolated showers on the far north coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. East to northeasterly winds.Thursday 6 JuneThe chance of patchy rain in the northern and on the western slopes of the central and southern ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere with isolated showers on the far north coast. Northeast to northwest winds.Friday 7 JuneIsolated showers in the far southeastern inland and the chance of patchy rain over the northeastern inland. Partly cloudy elsewhere with isolated showers on the far north coast. Northwest to northeast winds turning south to southwesterly on the south coast.Saturday 8 JuneIsolated coastal showers and the chance of showers over the northeastern inland. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
