Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 3/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system near Adelaide will move eastwards across New South Wales today before reaching the Tasman Sea on Wednesday as a cold front approaches western Victoria. The front will weaken and slip away to the south on Thursday. Another front will approach southwest Victoria on Thursday night, moving through the State on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayEarly fog patches inland and early frost over the northeast. Isolated showers in the south, mainly near the coast, mostly clearing during the afternoon. A mild and partly cloudy day with light west to southwesterly winds tending north to northwesterly over the west in the afternoon.Wednesday 5 JuneEarly fog inland, mainly in the east. Early frost patches over the northeast. Mostly cloudy with isolated showers possible over the west late in the day. A mild day with light to moderate northerly winds freshening about elevated areas in the afternoon.Thursday 6 JuneIsolated showers near the ranges and over the southwest but dry elsewhere. Isolated snow showers on the alpine peaks. Otherwise a mild and partly cloudy day with strengthening north to northwesterly winds.Friday 7 JuneIsolated showers extending to most districts, becoming scattered in the southwest. Mild and mainly cloudy with moderate to fresh northwest to westerly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Tuesday.Product IDV10310
