Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 3/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1032 hPa over the Bight is moving eastwards and will be centred near Adelaide tonight and over the Tasman Sea on Wednesday. A weak front will move across coastal districts during late Wednesday and Thursday. Another front will move across the southeast of the State on Friday morning.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated light showers over the southern agricultural area and near western coasts, contracting to southern coasts in the evening. Cool with mostly light southwest to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 4 JunePossible isolated showers clearing from the Lower South East coast and Kangaroo Island and developing west of Ceduna. Early fog patches over the agricultural area and south of the Northeast Pastoral. Cool to mild with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Wednesday 5 JuneFine northeast of Marree. Cloudy with possible isolated showers over the remainder, except over parts of central and eastern agricultural districts. Cool to mild with light to moderate north to northwesterly winds, freshening near the coasts and in the west.Thursday 6 JuneIsolated showers over southern coastal districts and possibly over the remainder the southern agricultural area. Possible patchy rain north of Coober Pedy. Cool to mild with light to moderate west to northwest winds, fresh in the south.Friday 7 JuneIsolated showers extending across the agricultural area and west coast, scattered about southern coasts and ranges in the morning. Cool to mild with light to moderate northwest to southwest winds, fresh about southern coasts. Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday afternoon until midnight Friday are expected to be 5 to 10 mm about southern coasts and the far northwest interior. 2 to 5 mm is expected about the remainder of ocean coasts and northwest of Coober Pedy. Up to 2 mm elsewhere.Saturday until MondayPossible patchy rain in the far northeast. Possible isolated showers over southern coasts extending to south of Adelaide on Monday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Tuesday.Product IDS10033
