Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 1/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low 1009 hPa over the east of the State will move northeast into NSW overnight and weaken. A high south of Perth is moving eastwards and will be centred near Adelaide Monday night and near the east coast on Wednesday. A weak front will move into western coasts later Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayAreas of rain over the Mount Lofty Ranges, Murraylands and Upper South East districts easing by early evening, with scattered showers over the remainder of the agricultural area, tending to isolated showers over the Flinders and south of the Pastoral districts. Showers becoming isolated throughout by late evening. Cool to mild. Moderate southwest to southeasterly winds becoming general, fresh near the coasts.Sunday 2 JuneIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and near western coasts, contracting to the coasts in the evening. The chance of isolated showers further north, clearing during the afternoon. Cool with moderating southwest to southeasterly winds.Monday 3 JuneIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area, contracting to southern coasts in the evening. Early fog patches over the agricultural area. Generally cool with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 4 JunePossible isolated showers clearing from the Lower South East coast and Kangaroo Island, but over areas west of Ceduna. Early fog patches over the agricultural area. Fine otherwise with cool to mild conditions. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Wednesday 5 JunePossible isolated showers extending from the west over areas west of Keith to Adelaide to Marla. Cool to mild with light to moderate north to northwesterly winds, freshening near the coasts. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday evening until midnight Wednesday are expected to be 1 to 5 mm.Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers, chiefly in the south, becoming confined to the agricultural area on Friday and the the southern agricultural area on Saturday. Mild with moderate to fresh northwesterly winds, tending southwest to southeasterly in the north.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
