MELBOURNE - May 27/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high 1034 hPa over the Tasman Sea is slowly moving east. A trough of low pressure will weaken and slide southeastwards across western coasts on Wednesday. A cold front will move across the west and south of the State on Friday and the remainder on Saturday. Forecast for the rest of TuesdayEarly fog patches over central and eastern districts with possible light frost mostly about the Flinders Ranges. High cloud increasing in the west with possible isolated light showers developing over the far west after midday. Cool to mild with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds.Wednesday 29 MayEarly morning fog over eastern districts with possible frost about the Flinders Ranges. High cloud increasing throughout with possible isolated showers over western parts of the State, gradually extending over southern coastal areas. Mild with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds.Thursday 30 MayCloudy with possible isolated showers south of about Giles to Moomba, more likely near ocean coasts. Mild with moderate northerly winds, turning westerly in the far west.Friday 31 MayPatchy rain extending throughout, easing to isolated showers from the south. Generally mild with northeast to northerly winds shifting southerly during the day. Cumulative rainfall totals from Tuesday morning to midnight Friday are expected to be 2 to 10 mm, but less than 2 mm in the far northeast.Saturday until MondayPatchy rain across the Pastoral and Flinders forecast districts, clearing to the east, then developing again late in the period in the west. Isolated showers over agricultural area.
