Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 26/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1032 hPa over South Australia will move slowly eastwards to reach the eastern states on Monday and the Tasman Sea on Tuesday. A trough of low pressure will slide southeastwards across western coasts and Kangaroo Island on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated light showers over the southern agricultural area, contracting to southern coasts in the evening. Cool with light and variable winds.Monday 27 MayMorning fog patches, mainly southeast of about Elliston to Leigh Creek. Isolated light morning showers over the Lower South East district. Cool to mild with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds.Tuesday 28 MayEarly fog patches over Kangaroo Island and the Lower South East. Otherwise fine. Cool to mild with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds.Wednesday 29 MayHigh cloud increasing with possible isolated showers over western coasts and Kangaroo Island. Mild with light to moderate north to northwest winds, turning southerly about western coasts.Thursday 30 MayCloudy with possible isolated showers south of about Giles to Marree, more likely near ocean coasts. Mild with moderate northerly winds, turning southerly in the far west. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday afternoon to midnight Thursday are expected to be up to 2 mm.Friday until SundayPatchy rain, clearing from the far northeast and easing to isolated showers over the agricultural area later in the period.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Monday.Product IDS10033
