MELBOURNE - May 25/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A strong high pressure system is moving over central New South Wales. This high will move over the southwestern Tasman Sea later on Monday and then it will move slowly east towards New Zealand maintaining the ridge to the northwest of New South Wales. The next cold front is expected to cross the state on Saturday. Forecast for the rest of SundayAreas of morning frost and patchy fog over the ranges, western slopes and southern inland. Isolated coastal showers in the north. Partly cloudy over the southern inland. Fine and mostly sunny remainder. Southwest to southeasterly winds.Monday 27 MayEarly frost areas and patchy fog. Isolated coastal showers over the central and northern coasts. Partly cloudy in the south. Mostly sunny remainder. South to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 28 MayEarly frost areas and patchy fog. Isolated coastal showers over the central and northern coasts. Mostly sunny in the northwest. Partly cloudy remainder. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Wednesday 29 MayPatchy fog over the ranges. Isolated showers on the north coast, tending scattered on the far north coast. The chance of a showers over the southern slopes and Alpine area. Partly cloudy remainder.
