Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 24/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A 1030 hPa high in the Bight will move slowly eastwards to reach the eastern states on Monday, and over the Tasman sea on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayThe chance of isolated showers near the coasts. Cool with light southwest to southeasterly winds.Saturday 25 MayMorning fog south of about Cook to Roxby Downs to Broken Hill. Early frosts patches over the Riverland, Mid North, Flinders and Northeast Pastoral districts south of Broken Hill. Possible isolated showers near the coasts and over the Lower South East district. Cool with light southwest to southeasterly winds, tending moderate westerly over the South East district.Sunday 26 MayPossible early morning fog over the Murraylands and South East district. Areas of morning frost over and to the east of the Flinders and Mount Lofty Ranges. Possible isolated showers south of about Adelaide. Cool with generally southwest to southeasterly winds, becoming light to moderate northeasterly in the west during the day.Monday 27 MayFine apart from possible morning fog in the South East district and areas of morning frost over and to the east of the Flinders and Mount Lofty Ranges. Cool to mild with light to moderate northeast to northwesterly winds.Tuesday 28 MayFine. Generally mild. Light to moderate northeast to northwesterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday afternoon to midnight Tuesday are expected to be generally less than 1 mm near the coasts, with isolated falls of 2 mm near southern coasts.Wednesday until FridayFine on Wednesday. The chance of isolated showers extending from the west on Thursday, increasing to scattered showers over the southern agricultural area on Friday. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh northeast to northwesterly winds, shifting fresh southwesterly from the west during Friday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Saturday.Product IDS10033
