MELBOURNE - May 23/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A 1029 hPa high in the Bight will strengthen as it moves slowly eastwards to be over South Australia at the weekend, reaching the Tasman Sea on Tuesday. Forecast for the rest of FridayPossible early morning fog south of about Woomera to Yunta with patches of morning frost over central and eastern districts. A chance of isolated showers about the southern agricultural area and West Coast district, more likely about the coasts. Cool with generally light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Saturday 25 MayPossible early morning fog south of about Woomera to Yunta with areas of morning frost over inland central and eastern districts. Possible isolated showers about the Lower South East district and remaining southern and western coasts. Cool with mostly light winds.Sunday 26 MayPossible early morning fog in the South East with areas of morning frost over inland central and eastern districts.. Possible isolated showers about far southern coasts. Cool to mild with generally light variable winds, becoming light to moderate northeasterly in the west during the day.Monday 27 MayFine apart from possible morning fog and frost on and east of the ranges. Cool to mild with light to moderate northeast to northwesterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday morning to midnight Monday are expected to be generally less than 2 mm, with isolated falls of 2 to 5 mm are possible about far southern coasts.Tuesday until ThursdayFine.
