MELBOURNE - May 10/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea will move slowly east during the next couple of days, maintaining a ridge over eastern New South Wales. A cold front is expected to move across the state Monday and Tuesday. Another high pressure ridge will develop behind the front. Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers on the north coast and adjacent eastern ranges. Fine and mostly clear elsewhere. East to northeasterly winds, southwest to southeasterly near the coast.Saturday 11 MayEarly frost patches on the ranges and areas of morning fog in the east. Isolated showers along the north coast extending to the central coast during the afternoon. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. East to northeasterly winds.Sunday 12 MayEarly frost patches on the ranges and areas of morning fog in the east. Patchy light rain developing in the southwest, more likely near the Victorian border. Isolated showers along the north coast and adjacent eastern ranges. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. North to northeasterly winds, ahead of a west to southwesterly change in the west.Monday 13 MayPatchy rain in the south and west, more likely over the southwestern slopes. Fine and mostly cloudy elsewhere. North to northwesterly winds in the east. West to southwesterly winds in the west.Tuesday 14 MayIsolated showers in the northeast.
