Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 8/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system near Tasmania will move slowly east during the next few days, maintaining a ridge over eastern New South Wales. A weak trough is expected to move across the state later in the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayMorning fog areas in the east and on the western slopes. Isolated showers along the north coast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds, tending west to southwesterly in the southeast.Friday 10 MayMorning fog areas in the east. Isolated showers on the central and northern coast and adjacent eastern ranges. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Saturday 11 MayIsolated showers along the central and north coast, clearing from the south. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. East to northeasterly winds.Sunday 12 MayPatchy light rain in the southwest, more likely near the Victorian border. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere.
