Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 7/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system near Tasmania will move slowly east during the next few days, maintaining a ridge over eastern New South Wales. An upper trough will bring unsettled conditions to inland areas Tuesday evening and on Wednesday. A weak trough is expected to move across the state over the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers along the coast, chiefly in the north. Isolated showers over parts of the western inland, with the chance of thunderstorms in the northern inland. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Wednesday 8 MayEarly fog areas in the east. Isolated showers along the northern coast and adjacent ranges, and possibly about the central coast. The chance of showers over parts of the central inland, most likely over the southern slopes. Otherwise fine and partly cloudy. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Thursday 9 MayMorning fog areas in the east and on the western slopes. Isolated showers along the north coast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds, tending southwest to northwesterly winds in the southeast.Friday 10 MayIsolated showers on the central and northern coast and adjacent eastern ranges. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds, southerly along the coast.Saturday 11 MayIsolated showers along the central and north coast, clearing from the south.
