MELBOURNE - May 6/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation An upper level trough will drift slowly across Victoria today. A high pressure system in the Tasman Sea will remain there during Wednesday. The high will weaken as a cold front moves from the Southern Ocean across Tasmania to the Tasman Sea on Thursday. Another high will follow the front and move to the southern Tasman Sea on Friday. Forecast for the rest of TuesdayPatchy morning frosts over the northeast and Gippsland. Early fog patches over Gippsland. Isolated showers possible over most districts and the chance of isolated thunderstorms over the northwest. A mild and mostly cloudy day with light to moderate northeast to northerly winds, locally fresh at times near the coast.Wednesday 8 MayIsolated morning showers over the northeast, otherwise dry.
