MELBOURNE - May 5/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high 1028 hPa over Tasmania will move eastwards to be centred over the Tasman Sea on Tuesday then remain near stationary for the remainder of the week. An upper level disturbance will slowly move across the south of the State during today. Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers over the agricultural area, more likely south of about Adelaide, contracting slowly east during the day and easing later. The chance of isolated morning thunder over the agricultural area north of Keith. Morning fog patches west of about Ceduna. A mild day in the south, warm in the north. Light to moderate northeasterly winds, fresh at times about the ranges, tending south to southeasterly in the far west.Tuesday 7 MayFine apart from possible isolated early morning showers east of the Mount Lofty Ranges. Mild to warm with moderate to fresh northerly winds.Wednesday 8 MayFine. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh northerly winds.Thursday 9 MayPossible isolated showers west of Ceduna. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh fresh northerly winds tending light to moderate west to southwesterly at times in the far west. Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday until midnight Thursday are expected to be less than 3 mm.Friday until SundayIsolated showers west of Ceduna tending to a band of patchy rain on Saturday then extending over most of the State by Sunday afternoon. Rain clearing from western and central districts during Sunday with isolated showers to follow.
