MELBOURNE - May 4/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high 1029 hPa south of South Australia will continue to move eastwards to be centred over the Tasman Sea on Tuesday. An upper level disturbance will slowly move across the State during today and Monday. Forecast for the rest of SundayPossible isolated showers and thunderstorms in the far west during the morning. Possible isolated showers developing south of about Ceduna to Yunta, but north of Keith. Early frost patches in the Lower South East. A cool day near southern coasts grading to warm in the north with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, locally fresh about the ranges.Monday 6 MayPossible isolated showers and thunderstorms south of about Ceduna to Yunta, but north of Bordertown, contracting to eastern parts in the evening. Morning fog patches west of about Ceduna. Possible early frost patches in the South East district. A mild day in the south, warm in the north. Light to moderate northeast winds.Tuesday 7 MayFine apart from possible isolated early morning showers well east of the Mount Lofty Ranges. Warm with moderate to fresh northerly winds.Wednesday 8 MayFine apart from possible isolated showers developing in the far west. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh northerly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning until midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 3 mm with possible falls around 5 mm towards the eastern border.Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers gradually extending from the west to reach a line Ernabella to Yunta by late Saturday.
