Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 4/13 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of South Australia will continue to move eastwards to be centred over the Tasman Sea on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayFine and partly cloudy. A generally cool to mild evening with light to moderate southeast to easterly winds tending light northeast to northerly in the north.Sunday 5 MayPossible isolated showers and thunderstorms in the far west during the morning. Possible isolated showers developing south of about Ceduna to Yunta, but north of Keith. Early frost patches in the Lower South East. A cool day near southern coasts grading to warm in the north with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, locally fresh about the ranges.Monday 6 MayPossible isolated showers south of about Port Augusta to Yunta, but north of Bordertown. Morning fog patches west of about Ceduna. Possible early frost patches in the South East district. A mild day in the south, warm in the north. Light to moderate northeast winds.Tuesday 7 MayFine apart from possible isolated morning showers well east of the Mount Lofty Ranges. Warm with moderate to fresh northerly winds.Wednesday 8 MayFine apart from possible isolated showers developing in the far west. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh northerly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday afternoon until midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 3 mm with possible falls around 5 mm towards the eastern border.Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers gradually extending from the west to reach the central and Flinders districts on Saturday. Warm to hot with fresh northerly winds, ahead of a milder westerly change in the far west.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
